[brandz-discuss] New Policy: You must be subscibed to post

As of 5 minutes ago, all messages to brandz-discuss from non-members will
be automatically rejected.

For the past 18 months or so, messages from non-members were held in a
moderation queue. Every few days one of us would scan the queue and
approve any on-topic messages.

Over the past couple of months, the amount of spam building up in the queue
has reached a level where this approach is no longer practical. We are now
getting about 100 spams for each on-topic message. This means that
on-topic messages are sitting in the queue longer, and are more likely to
be accidentally tossed out with the spam.

Instead of queueing messages, the list will now automatically reject them.
This should provide some useful feedback to the sender, rather than having
their messages languish in the queue or vanish silently into the spam
bucket.

Nils
