[brandz-discuss] "File size limit exceeded" centos 3.x lx zone

I have solaris 10u4 8/07 and installed a lx zone using the centos image from
http://dlc.sun.com/osol/brandz/downloads/centos_fs_image.tar.bz2
After installing and logging into the lx zone, I notice I cannot create files >4G. For example, I try to create a 5G file:
$ dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/bigfile bs=1k count=5M
File size limit exceeded
The resulting /tmp/bigfile is 4G. I tried to copy a 5G file from a NFSv3-mounted filesystem into /tmp but get same error and only 4G is copied. I used cksum to read through the 5G file on the NFS filesystem and there was no error (so does not seem related to any large file size NFS issues.)
I have the zonepath (and /tmp) on ZFS if that matters. I get the same errors when I try to create large files on NFS mounted filesystems.
Is this a limit with brandz lx zones?
Thanks,
Doug
