For IPG tunables, I think they are useful in reducing collision rate on
a half-duplex media. But with 1000M links and above, they are seldom
works under half-duplex mode, unless a broken cable or so. So it seems
to me these parameters are not as useful today as they were in the past.
I searched bug's database and found the latest bug regarding IPG was
quite a long time ago(not s10 days even), which makes me think this
feature is not heavily used by customer already.
Please advice.
