Meem expressed the opinion that it would be helpful to him to have the
files partitioned. 

Since there may be others who share that opinion, here's a partitioning
of the files. 

Please note that this partitioning is only intended so that all
files get reviewed, and so that reviewers who are pressed for time
can focus on specific pieces.. as I mentioned before, review
input for any of the files is welcome from all.
