I agree that the ethernet address is not an object managed by
dladm, but more of an instance of the "link-layer address"
property of the link.
So yes, show-link seems an appropriate sub-command to display this.
Here's the proposed output:
# dladm show-link
LINK CLASS MTU STATE OVER ADDRESS
bge0 phys 1500 up -- X:X:X:X:X
