I'm slightly confused by this.  Presumably, libdlpi did a DL_INFO_REQ
after opening the device.  Both style-1 and style-2 style links must
answer that request.  If there's no answer to the DL_INFO_REQ, what's
the point in continuing on and trying style 2?
