<p>Keith Wesolowski was quick to point out to me that the 
<a href="http://www.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/OpenSolaris_Charter">charter</a>
doesn't permit a 2 month extension.  It does, however, allow me to propose that the same group of individuals form a second initial OGB for the next 6 month term.  So, consider this to be that proposal.</p>

<p>I would like to ask the CAB, however, to not wait 6 months to complete the constitution, and to resign once the constitution has been ratified in order to allow elections to proceed.</p>

<p>Is that acceptable?</p>
