Of course that's reasonable and I'm sure that is exactly what will happen.

And this point was covered in the email that you are responding to.

I don't see where you are getting this from.  There is no attempt to "try
to limit what and when candidates may express opinions".  All we are
saying is that candidates *campaigning* must end at the end of the
campaign period.  Then they maintain a "business as usual" presence on the
project and are "free to respond to election related questions that might
be posed by a voter" during the election period (2 weeks).

Here's a definition of campaigning from dictionary.com that might be
useful:

""An operation or series of operations energetically pursued to accomplish
a purpose: an advertising campaign for a new product; a candidate's
political campaign.""

I could characterize the entire OpenSolaris.org project as a project with
a casual and tolerant attitude where there are few restrictions.
