   I think this will be reasonable. I think users do realize that things 
won't work
   if they cancel an install midway. It saves time, if for some reason 
you want to
   go back change something and restart the install. Without a quit you are
   either stuck for 45mins or reach for the power button.

   One small thing that will help avoid brickification is to toggle the 
Solaris
   partition active flag at the end of install. That way if you cancel 
in between
   you can still boot the existing partition that is still active.
