Were you able to resolve this firmware update issue? Also, I see you had another post about when OSOL 2009.06 will be officially supported. I'm happy to report that official support will come in the next release which is coming very soon. As to your specific support questions: 1. Zone Installation The standalone installer, which is OS platform neutral, is not zone aware. However, we have worked up the procedure to install the CAM software into a zone. I can supply that to you. 2. IPS packages The one thing that prevents CAM from being available from IPS is that the CAM UI is a Sun Java Web Console application. The Web Console is not available from IPS at this point and since it is EOL'd software it probably will never be available. The good news is that a new CAM UI is under development which will not be dependent on any web console middleware such as the Sun Java Web Console. As soon as the dependency on the Sun Java Web Console is removed we will make CAM available from IPS. I can supply that to you. Sorry, I got Zone Installation and Live Upgrade confused here. We've made the necessary changes to RunMe.bin to support Zone Installation on OpenSolaris. It should work out of the box. > > 2. IPS packages > > The one thing that prevents CAM from being available from IPS is that > the CAM UI is a Sun Java Web Console application.
