[cifs-discuss] Spontaneous SMB session failure

I have set this up as a workgroup share, however, the process that uses this has over 100 systems, each with a different password. If I understand the setup for CIFS in a Workgroup, we will have to add the account to UNIX as well as update the password. Is this correct? If that is correct, it will be difficult to test this.

Could you elaborate some on what the fix involves for CR 6693545? Is it possible to obtain a patch that incorporates this fix to test?
