[cifs-discuss] ZFS/CIFS to store Window's User's Folder (via Folder Redirection)?

heya,

I'm attempting to setup a OpenSolaris system running ZFS/CIFS as a file-server for a Windows 2008-based domain.

I'm hoping to use the fileserver as the repository for User's folders, via a folder redirection group policy on the Windows side, using the CIFs server as the store.

Are there any issues, particularly with permissions/creating folders/troubleshooting that I should be wary of? (I do know that some username's won't match up, due to the 8-character limit on the Solaris side - I guess I'd just change the mappings manually to fix this?).
