You need to setup your ACLs and also identity mappings properly to
get the desired results in a multi-protocol environment.
Post the output of the following script so that we can take a look
at your configuration:
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/cifs-server/files/cifs-gendiag
Also provide a more specific example with user information from
both sides and also the ACL of the file being accessed. You can
get the ACL using "ls -V"
