[companion-discuss] Code Review Request: Update of gnuplot

This is a request for a code review of an update of gnuplot to version 4.2.0 for the Companion CD.  The webrev is at

This builds cleanly in nightly on Nevada 56.  The only issue beyond the usual update of Makefile.sfw, install-sfw, prototype_com etc to reflect the new version was a small patch to the gnuplot configure file.  The output of configure produces a line with the word "error" in it in such a way that nightly thinks it is an non-DEBUG error and the build fails.  With the little patch, the line with error in it is removed and nightly does not see it and the build completes.  I think this is the simplest fix for this.
