[companion-integrate] RTI - Update of SFWmpack and SFWmapckS packages to version 1.6

I would like to submit a RTI for an update of the SFWmpack and SFWmpackS 
packages to version 1.6 on the Companion CD.  The webrev is at

The code reviewer for this change has been Paul Cunningham (details in 
companion-discuss).

Details of the changes are:

Version number updates, the patch files were changed as only one was 
needed to change to the use of /usr/tmp to /var/tmp.  The Makefile.sfw 
was put into a more standard form.

A METADATA file was added and copyrights updated where needed and as
suggested by Paul.

A clean nightly build was done on Nevada 56.  Test installations of the 
packages were also done.
