Siva -
It is my view that only software within opensolaris or
other consolidations should be used to build items for
the companion. Any GNUstep packages you provide would
have to be able to be part of a nightly build and so
need to fit into the companion build structure.
Do not use blastwave, sunfreeware, or any other
outside software packages.
Therefore, I suspect you will have to provide the obj-c
first.
Programs in the companion use gcc and Studio.
So you are free to use gcc.
