I wonder if that's a useful thing to put in the Comments in the METADATA
file?

since you had to change things related to the .info files, you reminded
me of at least one case in sfw that has been shipping a zero-length
info file. though that's being fixed, you might want to make sure that
these aren't (and maybe peek around to see if any others are... I have
a script I might eventually add to sfw to look for things like this but
I haven't yet).
