Hi,

I have replied the glade related mail in my last mail.

As for anjuta, it might be a good development tool but I haven't used it before. As I know, very few people are fixing anjuta bugs in Solaris. So there might be a lot of crashes in Solaris. Recently Halton Huo in my team has fixed some of the bugs in latest anjuta, and put the spec files and patches in subversion at https://sourceforge.net/projects/pkgbuild/ . You can find it at http://pkgbuild.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pkgbuild/spec-files-extra/trunk/SFEanjuta.spec?view=markup

For how to using pkgtools to build the spec file, please refer to http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/jds/contributing/building/

You can start to develop a GNOME application by copying code from existing applications. You can find a lot of them at http://svn.gnome.org/viewcvs/. For example, you can have a look at gnome-hello (a sample application) or gcalctool which is the calculator in GNOME. You also need to be familiar with subversion (svn), autotools (automake, autoconf, aclocal, etc) and gcc/Sun Studio, gdb/dbx, etc.
