What kind of error did you get?

glade-3 does not have code generator  at all, I suppose you're using
glade-2.

AFAIK, there is no good code generator, what I suggest you is refer to
some mature projects on www.gnome.org, write configure.in Makefile.am by
yourself.

Anjuta 1.2.2 is very old, I never launch anjuta1.x successfully. Anjuta
community is now developing anjuta 2.x, which depend on latest GTK/GLib,
and have lots features.

One comments on Harry's reply, you need use Solaris 11 or Solaris
Express Developer Edition. Solaris 10 would not work.
