Thanks David and Jim for the additional feedback. I agree that these  
cases are sufficient justification to allow the slot number  
containing factory MAC addresses to be specified. I will keep this  
dladm(1M) option on the table for now.

I'll follow-up later with an updated proposal to display the list of  
unicast MAC address slots, as discussed earlier in this thread.
