And I'd like to be able to edit the darned menus like I can
with MS-Windows!

Yes, I do use MS-Windows from time to time (iTunes, SimCity) ...
and I'd like to be able to move my frequently-used apps from their
default menu locations to the top of the Launch popup/dropdown/menu.
