[desktop-discuss] JDS "Extra-tarballs" missing in action

Some are there....some are not....?
Why are some missing....and where can one go to get them?
For instance the spec file for "apoc" identifies only the opensolaris site.

Perhaps I just picked the wrong time to build from source rather than install binaries....is this normally an issue?

Do build releases (OS not the desktop) cause "extra-tarballs" population to change constantly...there seems to be quite a difference in the last two or three releases?
