Well, you'ld think a truly integrated desktop, as JDS has always
claimed to be, would have a single dictionary all applications
could share, so that people wanting support for other languages
don't need to install one for StarOffice, another for Firefox,
another for gedit, etc.    (Same for people adding their own
words to the user dictionaries for each - how many times should
I have to tell the system to stop trying to change my last name
to "Coppersmith"?)

That's the objection the ARC usually has to every "yet another
spell checker" case.
