JDS is only the desktop so does not have kernel sources.
Does Fusion3 definitely need kernel sources or are the required header 
in system headers somewhere?

You can search the Solaris sources, including kernel sources, at:
http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/
Try searching for a filename and see where it is.
