[desktop-discuss] Mozilla 1.7 slowes down java desktop on Solaris 10

I looked over the trusses, especially the mozilla one, and from
what I can tell, there are no obvious getXbyY lookups in the
trusses.  It looks like most or all the I/O in the trusses is
mozilla <-> X server X requests and responses.

I could not find any doors or ldap requests in the trusses that
would point to a performance problem with name services.

There was certainly a lot of I/O between mozilla & the X server.
Perhaps the issue is somehow related to the java app running on
in the mozilla client.?
