[desktop-discuss] JDS vermillion_43 won't install

i keep getting this message:
"This product requires OS build snv_40 or later"

whenever i try and install the vermillion_43 stuff:

# ./install-jds --force --ignore
This product requires OS build snv_40 or later

even though i just built and installed 20060619 (snv_42 i think) following dennis clarke's instructions over on blastwave.  according to those instructions i named the build 'mybuild' instead of SNV_xx and my uname -a says this:

# uname -a
SunOS desiderata 5.11 mybuild i86pc i386 i86pc

so is there some way i can change that or fool the installer?
