That is an absolute. Also the man page conventions require that directory name
extension, man page file extension, and the section in the text are exactly the
same.
The man command also requires that the extension be in lower case, I believe.
For useability purposes I'm suggesting that the name should be <number>gnu,
rather than <number>g
