This is a likely consequence of the way the unintegrated install works. We put the modules into directories corresponding to their category. This is somewhat arbitrary.

SUNWfirefox has a dependency on SUNWpostrun but is installed before it. The install doesn't honour these dependencies across the category directories. If we put everything into one directory the install order would be correct.

This will be resolved, by becoming moot, after installation.

FYI: The postinstall script for SUNWfirefox simply runs:
  /usr/bin/update-desktop-database
