[desktop-discuss] fc-cache SEGV

I have installed b51 in a parallels VM on a machine I am getting a message during startup that fc-cache failed to start.  It is dumping a core file on startup. Everything else appears to be working except I am unable to start a jds desktop.  I looked in the log and everything appears to be ok until I get a hangup. I assume the two are connected. The CDE desktop works fine. 
Any ideas on were to look?
