If this is solved with java 1.6, I will give it a try.
Thanks for the input, as this problem was really annoying (i.e. when using an (fr) 
type-5 external keyboard from my laptop, I loosed the backspace key... Not that fun
to modify code by graphical mouse select and overtyping...)
