[desktop-discuss] New install Solaris Express 9/06 b46 font error in gnome

Just installed and got running Solaris Express 9/06 b46 from live update. All is well except that when I try to run emacs I get the following error:

No fonts match `-dt-interface user-medium-r-normal-m*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*'

I don't know how to resolve this. The application fonts, but not the in-file fonts, look horrible in Nedit as well. I need to use emacs daily, any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
