Hello,

I have ethereal via command: pkgtool --download build-install SFEethereal.
# pkginfo |grep SFE         
SFE         SFEethereal                      Ethereal - A GUI network protocol analyzer
SFE         SFElibpcap                       Packet Capture library
SFE         SFElibpcap-devel                 Packet Capture library - development files
SFE         SFEsed                           GNU Stream Editor

No error messages when installing.

When I start a capture on a device I get error message:

ld.so.1: dumpcap: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/lib/libpcap.so: symbol socket: referenced symbol not found
