[desktop-discuss] SMB browsing with nautilus - how to save user/domain/pass info

hi folks,
i'm using solaris nevada SXCE build 59 on x86
i can use nautilus to browse to the local SMB network & access files, including logging in with my windows user & domain.
what is a bit irritating is that despite a checkbox for "store this password in keyring", every day i connect to the same windows server i need to re-enter my username, domain & password. this info does seem to be cached in a session for some amount of time - but sometimes i have to re-add windows user & password info even if i haven't logged out of solaris.
is this a known bug?
how can i at the least have nautilus use the correct default user & domain info in the dialog box?
cheers
p
