I pretty much agree with you. :-)

The help I need is to increase the number of developers working on the project. Currently it's only me, and the project isn't evolving as fast as the users need. As for a more exact type of  help, then I think pointing at the TODO file should give plenty of things to start with: http://gnome-subtitles.svn.sf.net/viewvc/*checkout*/gnome-subtitles/trunk/gnome-subtitles/TODO.

Regarding an OpenSolaris package, it does seem like a good ideia.
