[desktop-discuss] gnome updater hangs

I previously installed vermillion b70 on top of my nevada b66, however I decided to luupgrade to nevada b69.

The luupgrade goes fine, however when I log into gnome the first time the updater starts and has been going for the past 60 mins.

Is this because of the different gnome versions, how do I get around this - do I need to gnome-cleanup on all my user accounts?
