Can you attach your config.log? It should be in
~/packages/BUILD/SFEbinutils-2.18/binutils-2.18-64 or
~/packages/BUILD/SFEbinutils-2.18/binutils-2.18

It works fine for me on Studio 12.

Doug, do you know why SFEalsa-lib depends on SFEgcc? Does it only build
with GCC 4?
