[desktop-discuss] emacs and anti-aliased fonts

I'm looking for a version of Emacs on Solaris that can display modern
anti-aliased fonts. Evidently, people have something working for Ubuntu
Linux:

http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki/XftGnuEmacs

I can grab the CVS sources at this site, and they configure and compile
flawlessly following the directions stated there. It just doesn't
display anti-aliased fonts as advertised on Solaris.

Does anyone have Emacs with anti-aliased fonts working on Solaris?

-Seb
