  You can find the version of /etc/asound.conf which is installed as part of the pkgbuild at http://pkgbuild.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/*checkout*/pkgbuild/spec-files-extra/trunk/include/asound.conf

Just copy this file to /etc/asound.conf.
