Subject: [osol-help] libflashplayer.so w/ Seamonkey 1.1 (b55b)

Hi!

maybe I'm totally off-topic here but ... I'll give it a try and I'm open for complaints.

I just installed snvb55b on my companies (guess who) Tecra M3 notebook. After some tweaking I'm very close to be happy. As I prefer Seamonkey over Firefox I grabbed all the essential from blastwave and started to configure SM. I tested FF and found that the flashplayer works pretty well on let's say youtube. So I decided to install the FF plugins into my useraccounts .mozilla/plugins. But the plugin does not work w/ Seamonkey. Also, I tried the Solaris plugin from adobe without success. The other installed plugins just worked out of the box (java, real, ) ... The plugin is listed (about:plugins) but does only display a stillimage of the flash-anim.

So, making long things short: Does anybody know how to get the plugin up an running w/ Seamonkey 1.1? The b55b distributed libflashplayer.so or the one from adobe (seem to be different versions). Afaik there are no open bugs for Seamonkey 1.1 listed on blastwave.

TIA

-best
Frank
