So it sounds like the trick here (If you want that feauture) is to just
go with the opensolaris distro X / Solaris way of updating firefox or thunderbird
or figuring out some way to convince the mozilla.org folks to support
opensolaris FF/TB tarballs like they do Windows/Linux. :)
