[desktop-discuss] Problem booting with belenix LiveCD

I don't know how to log the error messages so i will give you a gist of the error messages i got when i ran the belenix liveCD on my comp.

I have installed windows and fedora on my comp and am trying belenix for the first time.

my configuration is ,

amd athlon processor,
512Mb ram,
200GB hard disk ( 160gb+40GB)
network interface card too is there,
and one more thing, at the time i tried this out my cmos batteries were down so at boot up it used give some error messages stating the last shutdown time is older than time-of-day or something like that.

When i select the belenix option in the grub it takes me to a page where i need to select the desktop, here both xfce and kde won't work for me.If i select xfce at some point i get the error message -

Line 45:Loghost could not be resolved

then it takes me to a place where it shows ( in console )
belenix login: 

it then goes blank and i need to restart the system manually.

Now if i select the kde option, then it gives me a very big list of error and automatically reboots.

but the console login works fine.

Any suggestions ?
