KDE is also a Linux project, so I don't think using KDE would solve the
problem of "leaving desktop software to the Linux world".  I also find
it a bit hard to believe that the KDE project never has serious or
annoying bugs that cause headaches and need to be fixed.

Is there really such significant evidence that GNOME is, or will ever,
go "out of control".  I think such worries are unwarranted.
