[desktop-discuss] no dekstop/filemanager with xfce

Hello,

I installed xfce with the instruction found at http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/xfce/getting.

The panels,programs(firefox,terminal,mousepad,..)work , but it doesnt load a desktop and generate weird stripes when starting file manager or cheking the option allow xcfe manage desktop (in the desktop preferecens).

Any tip where I should start looking for problem :)?
