Hey,
What version of Solaris are you using? If Solaris Express, what build?
Also, did you have another (maybe older) Xfce installed before, that you
could have some of the configuration files still in your home directory?
To clean up any existing configuration files (or you just want to start
from scratch), login into a failsafe session which should just give you
a single xterm. From there remove your $HOME/.config directory, logout,
and login to Xfce again.
