Yes - it's a known problem in gnome-terminal in Nevada builds 67-69
(should be fixed in 70 I believe).   Fixes are available from the
JDS project on opensolaris - you can either install one of the
current Vermillion (JDS development branch) builds, or the set of
three gnome-terminal packages that the GNOME team posted a couple
weeks ago to solve this issue:
