I have another keybinding pet-peeve with gnome-terminal.... I am spoiled
by xterm/dtterm having "kshMode", where I can use my meta-key to send an
escape, ala Meta-F is translated to ESC-F. For shells with emacs
keybindings ( tcsh!) this is very, very handy.
I feel so strongly about this, that I refuse to use gnome-terminal and
continue to use plain old xterm.
PgUp/PgDn is just one more annoyance.
