Solaris 11 (if it is called that) will be based on the
Solaris Nevada code tree, which already has GNOME 2.16,
and the project to integrate GNOME 2.18 is already underway.
As for Solaris 10 Update 5, submit a request through your
sales or service reps - what features get backported are
outside the scope of OpenSolaris.
