Hi Erwann,

I watched the demo for the xgl/compiz on novell from YouTube several
days ago and was just curious about whether we can have such kind of
sizzling stuff for Solaris. Now it works well on my laptop :-) It's
really great and thanks for your work!

I'm using Solaris Nevada b56 on x86_64. The xorg is upgrade to 7.2
and the Nvidia driver is 1.0-9755 now. Following are the problems I met:
    1. The driver 1.0-9746 didn't work out on my 1280x800 wide screen
and my locale has been changed to C from en_US.UTF-8 automatically.
    2. After I specified the locale to en_US.UTF-8 with the dtlogin, the
x can't startup and error log message shows that there are some font
loading issues.

When I upgraded to the newer Nvidia driver (1.0-9755) and switched
to gdm, the problems went away.

I also met this problem for Thunderbird when I wrote a new email,
sometimes also for creating new gnome-terminal. This isn't 100%
reproducible. When I restart the gnome session and the compiz, the
problem disappears.

Another problem I got is after rebooting the system,
gtk-window-decorator runs into error:"Undefined symbol in
libdecoration.so: XRenderCreateSolidFill". If I change the symbol link
in /usr/lib/libXrender.so.1 to point to
/usr/X11/lib/libXrender.so.1.3.0, it works fine now.

Sometimes, when I start compiz, the existing windows will lost their
window manager and the new opened ones works fine.
