I saw the post today in that you basically have to create a true environment of extension headers and libs to supplement XSun/Xorg for Solaris.

Basically, if you build MetaCity >=2.14.5 you will be asked for the extra headers/libs if you enable the compositor. You should also be aware that an option in older versions of XRandR might cause you to lose this feature.

Experience says , make sure you have a "true" official release of Xorg 7.2 (non-beta) with the extra extensions, headers, and Sun patches. Saves development time and money.

I was reviewing a *.spec file for Compiz 0.3.6 and compiz-extras 0.3.6. Has anyone already created one?
