[desktop-discuss] Can't send screen to projector on the fly

Hi,

When I was running Solaris 10 3/05, I was able to plug an Infocus into 
my Sony Vaio and get an output, both to my screen and the projector.  I 
didn't even have to hit a key.

After I upgraded to 6/06, I can no longer do this.  I have to boot up 
with my laptop pre-attached to the Infocus.  The screen resolution on 
the laptop becomes gigantic, I forget what it is, but I can't change it 
back to normal like 1024x768.

I wonder if this is a known issue, and has fixes or workarounds?
